Allergy anxiety & parent coaching

Keeping your child safe shouldn't mean losing yourself.

You can take food allergies seriously and still want less worry, more confidence and room to breathe.

When you're the one checking every label, speaking to school and running through every possible risk, it's easy for your own needs to disappear. You deserve support too.

Real safety. Real life. Support for both.
Does any of this sound familiar?

It's not just the allergy. It's everything you carry around it.

01

You check, double-check and plan for every possible scenario, even when you're exhausted.

02

You want your child to have opportunities, but trusting others with their safety is difficult.

03

It's hard to switch off. Even the enjoyable moments can come with a background hum of worry.

04

You put yourself last because everyone else's needs feel more urgent.

These feelings make sense when the risks are real. But you shouldn't have to navigate them alone.

A different kind of support

Not “just relax”. Practical tools for real allergy life.

I'm a mental health nurse, certified coach and allergy mum. My approach draws on psychological tools, including CBT and ACT, alongside first-hand understanding of what it means to live with the possibility of a severe reaction.

We look at what anxiety is asking of you, which precautions genuinely keep your child safe, and where worry may be taking more of your life than it needs to.

Make space for the feelings. Without judgement or pressure to be positive.

Learn practical strategies. To respond to worry, guilt and unhelpful thinking patterns.

Move towards what matters. Build confidence one realistic step at a time, while respecting medical safety plans.

The heart of it
“Your child's safety matters. And so does your wellbeing.”
Wondering if this is for you?

You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support.

Maybe you're overwhelmed by all the decisions. Maybe your child is growing more independent and that's bringing up new worries. Or perhaps you've simply realised that you've spent so long looking after everyone else that you've stopped making space for yourself.

You can come as you are. We'll focus on what matters to you, at a pace that makes sense for your circumstances.

What people say about my coaching

Feedback from my wider coaching work and group sessions, not from the ANCHOR programme.

Fulden has been amazing at helping me verbalise what I want to change and achieve and how to do it. She is calm, caring and proactive and is really helping me become the person I want to be. Would 100% recommend.

A working mum struggling with saying no

I've given myself permission to say things that I haven't been able to admit to myself before. I am now more open to new ideas.

NHS nurse

I really enjoyed the group coaching session … thought provoking. You have a gentle coaxing way with you which made me feel relaxed, confident and wanted to interact.

Common questions

Before you decide

Will you tell me to stop worrying about my child's allergies?

No. Food allergies can involve serious risks and sensible vigilance matters. We work on how you respond to the worry and mental load, not on removing necessary precautions.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is forward-focused support with practical strategies and goals. It isn't a substitute for mental health assessment, therapy or medical care. If you need clinical support, speak with your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional.

Do I have to join a group?

Not at all. You can choose a one-to-one intensive or work independently through the self-paced course. ANCHOR is there if you'd value learning alongside other allergy mums.

What if I don't know which option is right for me?

Email me with a brief outline of what you're looking for, and I can help you understand which offer is likely to fit best.
