You've got their safety covered. Who's looking after you?

You're doing everything you can to keep your child safe. But do you really have to carry it all yourself?

Six live Wednesday sessions, 7 to 8 pm UK time, from 6 January to 10 February 2027. Your place is secured with one £99 payment.

Does this sound familiar?

Even when someone offers to help, you're still the one holding it all.

You're checking ingredients. Remembering medication. Thinking three steps ahead. Making sure everyone else knows what to do.

And when someone offers to take over, the thoughts start:

“Will they remember everything? What if they miss something? Isn't it easier if I just do it myself?”

Maybe you've already tried…

  • Talking to friends or family who care, but don't fully understand.
  • Joining allergy groups and researching every possible risk.
  • Asking a partner or relative to help, then supervising anyway.
  • Double-checking things you know you've already checked.
  • Pushing your own needs to the bottom of the list.

You're not short of information. You may need support with what happens after you've done the necessary preparation.

The breakthrough

What if doing more isn't always making you feel safer?

When your child has serious allergies, being vigilant isn't optional. Checking ingredients, planning ahead and making sure carers know what to do are essential.

But anxiety can push beyond those necessary precautions: another check, another reassurance request, another worst-case scenario. The relief doesn't always last.

Being responsible for your child's safety doesn't mean you must always be the only person who can keep them safe.

There's a difference between doing what's necessary for safety and doing more because worry makes it difficult to stop. ANCHOR helps you recognise that difference, respond to anxious thoughts differently and build trust where it's earned, while always respecting your child's individual allergy management plan.

Why a group?

“I used to think that too.”

Sometimes another mum's experience helps you see an option you hadn't considered.

One-to-one support can be valuable. But in ANCHOR, you benefit from professional coaching and the collective experiences of mums who understand the day-to-day decisions.

You don't have to share more than you're comfortable with. Listen, reflect, ask questions and find an approach that fits your family.

What makes ANCHOR different

Real risks are taken seriously here.

No one will tell you to “just stop worrying”, ignore allergy precautions or push your child into unsuitable situations.

Instead, we'll explore the thoughts, habits and beliefs that make daily life harder, while keeping appropriate safeguards at the centre.

Meet your coach

Hi, I'm Fulden.

I'm The Allergy Strategist: a registered mental health nurse, qualified coach and mum to a child with severe food allergies.

With more than 16 years of mental health experience, I've supported people to understand unhelpful thought patterns, manage difficult emotions and build everyday confidence.

But I also know the planning, uncertainty and enormous responsibility of allergy parenting from the inside. ANCHOR combines psychological tools, practical support and learning from other mums.

My aim is to help you feel supported and capable while making more room for your own wellbeing.

A grounded approach

Professional insight + lived experience

  • Registered mental health nurse
  • Qualified coach
  • CBT- and ACT-informed tools
  • Parent raising a child with severe food allergies
  • Respect for individual allergy safety plans

Coaching and psychoeducation, not individual psychological treatment or medical allergy advice.

What about you?

You're always making sure everyone else is OK. When do you get a turn?

When you're raising a child with allergies, it's easy to tell yourself you'll focus on your own wellbeing when things settle down. But there is always another appointment, school conversation or situation to plan for.

You might be managing everything on the outside while constantly running through the what-ifs on the inside. Perhaps you're checking again for reassurance, finding it hard to hand over responsibility, or missing out on things you'd like to do because the worry is exhausting.

What might it cost you to keep carrying all of that alone? Not necessarily in money. In headspace, rest, relationships, confidence and moments you never quite get to enjoy.

Of course, your child's safety comes first. ANCHOR isn't asking you to compromise that. It's an opportunity to give yourself some of the attention and support you give everyone else, and to explore which habits are necessary for safety and which are being driven by anxiety.

You don't have to wait until you're at breaking point to make room for yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Things you might be wondering

Do I have to be struggling all the time for ANCHOR to help?

No. You might manage allergies competently and still feel exhausted by the mental load, second-guessing or difficulty sharing responsibility. ANCHOR is about exploring those patterns, not judging how well you're coping.

Will you tell me to relax my child's allergy precautions?

No. Appropriate safety measures, medical advice and your child's individual allergy action plan remain essential. We focus on the emotional and practical burden around those responsibilities, not reducing necessary safeguards.

What if I'm nervous about talking in a group?

That's understandable. You can listen and reflect without disclosing more than feels comfortable. Group coaching is designed around respectful conversation and shared learning.

I'm already busy. How much time will I need?

We meet on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm UK time for six weeks, from 6 January to 10 February 2027. You will also need around 10 to 15 minutes between sessions for essential exercises. They are part of ANCHOR, because putting the tools into practice is how you start making changes in everyday life.

Is this therapy or medical advice?

No. ANCHOR is a coaching and psychoeducational programme. It isn't a replacement for psychological treatment, emergency guidance or advice from your child's allergy team.

I spend money on everyone else. Is it selfish to spend £99 on myself?

Not at all. You spend so much time looking after other people's needs, and your own wellbeing matters too. Learning ways to manage the mental load can benefit you and how you feel in family life. That doesn't make it an essential purchase, though. Only join if it fits your budget and feels right for you.

£99 feels like a lot. What am I actually paying for?

£99 is a meaningful investment, particularly when family expenses are high. The founding-member price covers six weeks of guided group coaching, essential practical exercises, shared learning with other allergy mums and access to the allergy anxiety course. That works out at £16.50 per week. It is an introductory offer, not a guarantee of a particular outcome.

What if I keep putting this off?

Nothing dramatic has to happen for it to matter. You may simply carry on feeling responsible for everything, second-guessing decisions or postponing parts of life that matter to you. Those patterns can take a toll over time. ANCHOR gives you space to understand them and try practical alternatives, while keeping appropriate allergy precautions in place.

Do I have to pay the full £99 upfront?

Yes. Booking is one £99 payment made in full through secure Stripe checkout, with no instalments or outstanding balance. Please make sure the confirmed dates, delivery arrangements and booking and cancellation terms work for you before paying.

When does ANCHOR start, and what will it cost?

The founding group meets on Wednesday 6, 13, 20 and 27 January and Wednesday 3 and 10 February 2027, from 7 to 8 pm UK time. The founding-member price is £99, paid in full when booking. The planned standard price is £149. Please review the booking and cancellation terms before purchasing.

Could I give ANCHOR as a gift to another mum?

Possibly, yes. It could be a thoughtful gift for someone who would genuinely welcome this kind of support. Please message me on Instagram at @allergy.strategist before purchasing so we can check the recipient can attend and arrange the booking details correctly. Please do not enter another person’s email address or sign them up without their agreement.

Booking information

Cancellation and refund terms

Please read these terms before booking your place on the January 2027 ANCHOR programme.

If I cancel my booking, what refund can I receive?

We understand that plans can change. The following is our intended cancellation policy for voluntary cancellations after any applicable statutory cooling-off rights have expired. Any deduction is limited to a reasonable estimate of losses directly caused by the cancellation, taking account of costs avoided and whether we can fill the place. We will not automatically retain a fixed sum if our actual loss is lower.

  • On or before 23 December 2026: Full refund of the £99 fee.
  • 24 December 2026 to 2 January 2027: We may retain up to £49.50 (50%) where justified by our genuine losses, with the balance refunded.
  • From 3 January 2027: A higher deduction may apply because the programme is about to begin. A full £99 deduction is only considered where it reflects a genuine, unavoidable loss. We will assess each request fairly.

If we can reasonably reallocate your place, or avoid costs because you cancel, we will take this into account. The amounts above do not override your statutory consumer rights.

What about my 14-day right to cancel an online booking?

For a typical online contract for coaching services, you have 14 days after the day the booking contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. If no services have started, you will ordinarily receive a full refund. This applies even if you book shortly before the programme begins. Simply tell us clearly that you want to cancel before the deadline.

If you expressly request that a service begins during your cooling-off period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services actually provided before cancellation, where legally permitted. Booking and paying on their own do not amount to an express request to start early. Your legal rights are not reduced by the date-based policy above.

What about access to the included self-paced course?

The included digital course will not be released early during your 14-day cooling-off period unless the applicable express-consent and acknowledgement requirements have been met. Separate rules can apply to digital content accessed before the end of the cooling-off period. These will be explained before any early access is offered.

What if I miss a session or need to withdraw?

The programme includes six Wednesday group sessions, with essential between-session practice. We do not ordinarily refund a session missed for personal reasons. If you need to withdraw, contact us. We will assess the services already supplied, our genuine losses and your statutory rights fairly.

What if ANCHOR is cancelled, postponed or significantly changed?

If we cancel the programme before it starts, you can receive a full refund. If a significant change to the schedule or programme means you cannot reasonably attend, we will offer a suitable alternative where possible or an appropriate refund. If a session cannot be delivered or rearranged, we will offer a fair remedy for the affected part of the service, without limiting your legal rights.

How do I cancel or request a refund?

Tell The Allergy Strategist clearly in writing that you want to cancel, using the business contact details provided with your booking. Include the name and email address used at checkout. You may use the cancellation wording below, but it is not compulsory. Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, we will refund it within the legal period, normally within 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Optional cancellation wording: “I hereby give notice that I cancel my booking for the ANCHOR group coaching programme. My name is [name], my booking email is [email], and my booking date is [date].”

These terms apply to consumer bookings for the ANCHOR group starting 6 January 2027. Nothing here limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

A little more space for you

You can keep your child safe and make room for yourself.

You don't have to stop caring, become carefree or force yourself into situations that aren't right for your family. But you can learn new ways to respond to worry, build trust where it's earned and share what doesn't have to fall entirely on you.
